1、我出国读书的一点感受：

As an international student, studying and living abroad, it is really a fabulous opportunity to understand the people with multicultural backgrounds. Thus, it can help me open my mind making friends with them. There are a lot of difficulties to face up with by myself at the beginning, though. But everything is deserved after I have conquered them. When I look back afterwards, nothing was not beautiful. Life is changing. So no matter how long you have been out for studying, just catch the chance to enjoy it.

2、我在酒店实习工作中的一些体会:

Hi, I am a senior student from University of Portsmouth, majoring in Hospitality Management. Now I am doing my one-year working placement in Woodlands Park Hotel of Handpicked Hotel. My job title is “Conference and Banqueting Assistant”, which involves different functions such as wedding, conference, private lunch and dinner, afternoon tea and funeral. I have learnt and enhanced myself quite a lot, no matter in skills or knowledge in practice, for the placement is a real working environment. In terms of how I enjoy this role, I would like to say that this is the job that I really want to have since I began to seek my placement. This is the job that I can get much experience in events planning area . This is the job I would take as my future career. For these reasons, I believe that my role will fulfil my dream, teaching me a lot, pushing me on and on. I have achieved some goals by myself in some aspects, like running some small functions, say a 10-people Sunday lunch, which delighted and inspired me a lot. The above are something that I have been feeling at my placement and that help me grow up to be a professional.
